Champion News Reporter

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
As a campus news reporter for The Champion through Liberty University's Field Projects & Practica course, I covered campus events by researching stories, conducting interviews, writing articles, and producing short video news packages.

PURPOSE:
To inform the Liberty University community through multimedia coverage of campus events and initiatives.

TARGET AUDIENCE:
Liberty University students, faculty, staff, and news professionals.

Campus News Reporter

SOFTWARE/EQUIPMENT USED:
Canon EOS R10, DJI Osmo Camera, Adobe Premiere Pro, Microsoft Word

SKILLS DEMONSTRATED:
News Reporting, Article Writing, Interviewing, Video Production, Video Editing, Multimedia Storytelling, and Deadline-Driven Journalism.

REFLECTION:
This experience strengthened my ability to report on diverse topics, create engaging news packages, and communicate stories effectively across both written and video platforms.
